We offer a variety of wedding scenarios to accommodate the size and budget for your wedding.
Whole property block: For larger size weddings with an intimate feel…as you have the inn as your own property. Wedding has exclusive use of all dining space for Saturday. On Friday, any unused dining space will be open to the public. Our facility fee includes Phelps Barn, dining rooms, dance floor and wedding coordination. Requires a guarantee of 100% of 45 rooms for Friday and Saturday nights. This scenario works best for 90 +/- guests with a maximum of 130. Special room rates apply depending on dates.
Afternoon wedding: A wonderful option for an afternoon wedding. You have exclusive use of Phelps Barn and/or dining rooms from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no minimum room guarantee. Any discount on rooms booked will reflect the total number of rooms booked for the event. The facility fee includes Phelps Barn, dining rooms, dance floor and wedding coordination. Event to conclude by 4:00 pm. This scenario works best for up to 60 guests.

A variety of lovely indoor and outdoor settings on the Inn’s grounds are available for ceremonies. A popular location is by the Grafton Inn’s picturesque swim pond.
Grafton’s historical White Church is located just steps from The Grafton Inn. Its hand-stenciled interior is renowned for its fine acoustic quality.
Elegant wedding meals are served in the dining room, which is comprised of three unique adjoining rooms — the Garden, Formal and Pine rooms. The dining area is filled with period antiques and a vast collection of original artwork. Meals are served on silver, English china (Dudson, Arbor pattern) and crystal.
Our restaurant is a Four Diamond award winner. Our kitchen and dining room staff will create the wedding dinner of your dreams. They can also prepare special lunches, rehearsal dinners and breakfasts for you and your guests.

Dancing, music and other wedding festivities are held in Phelps Barn. The Phelps Barn was a carriage house for the Grafton Inn in the 1800′s. Today, it features a bar and loft with a dance floor and seating areas.
Forty-five (45), are individually decorated and include private baths, sitting areas and air conditioning. You and your guests will enjoy the finest in accommodations and amenities.

Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center offers year-round activities, which are free for Inn guests. In the summer, Grafton Ponds offers more than 2,000 acres of mountain biking and hiking, canoe trips, fly fishing and bike tours. In the winter, it offers 30k of Nordic skiing (with snowmaking on select trails), 10k of snowshoeing trails and a 600-foot snow tubing hill. Many wedding parties organize group hikes, canoe trips, a bonfire with s’mores or take use of the vast land at the Ponds for other activities. We can help plan it for you and it’s a great way to gather people together!
On-site amenities include outdoor tennis courts, raised paddle tennis court, massage services, fitness center, wireless internet service, natural swimming pool (seasonal) and the best porch rockers in Vermont.
The Grafton experience also includes a visit to the award winning Grafton Village Cheese Company, Grafton Forge blacksmith shop, three fine art galleries, unique artisan shops and three museums. Picnic areas and walking trails are scattered throughout Grafton Village.
Four season resorts Okemo Mountain (35 mins.) and Stratton Mountain (30 mins.) offer skiing/snowboarding in the winter and golf and other activities in the summer. The Tater Hill golf course is located 20 mins. away. Many antiquing options are available in the surrounding areas including Weston and Chester. Manchester Village is famous for its outlet shopping (40 mins).
