Join us for a cocktail dinner featuring bites from the Grafton Inn kitchen team and drinks from America’s most awarded gin!
We think cocktail dinners are the bee’s knees, and no one makes a gin drink like Vermont’s Caledonia Spirits! We’re excited to partner with the makers of Barr Hill Gin, Tom Cat Gin, and Barr Hill Vodka to bring you a tasty cocktail dinner held beside our vegetable gardens and two new greenhouse spaces, all set to the tune of an instrumental string performance.
Sophia, Barr Hill’s Vermont Sales and Events Manager, will be present to tell the story of the distillery’s background and answer any questions you may have about their product or spirit-making process. Attendees will be treated to a Barr Hill party favor, and can go home with a bottle of their favorite spirits (for sale during the event) along with cocktail recipes and inspiration for at-home mixology.
When: Saturday, June 5 from 6 – 8 PM
Where: Dinner kicks off with a cocktail social and welcome drink on the back patio of the Grafton Village Cheese Shop. Dinner begins at 6:30 PM by the Grafton Inn vegetable gardens and greenhouses (rain backup location: the Grafton Inn Garden Room)
Price: $100 per person. Includes a welcome cocktail and appetizers, a three-course dinner paired with three Barr Hill cocktails, plus all tax and gratuity.
About Barr Hill: Barr Hill blossomed out of a collaboration between a beekeeper and distiller in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom back in 2011. Currently located in Montpelier, Vermont, Barr Hill describes their gin as an “ode to the hardworking bees of the Northeast.” Their juniper-forward botanicals and use of raw honey have earned them the distinction of “most awarded gin in America.” Taste the unique complexities of their gin, barrel-aged gin, and vodka with us on June 5.
