2021 Close to Home, Far Afield Tour

The sounds of strings, brass, and woodwind quartets are returning this summer! The Vermont Symphony Orchestra is gracing the grassy lawns behind the Windham Foundation to present a free concert as part of their Close to Home, Far Afield Tour.

From the Vermont Symphony Orchestra: “Experience a rich American patchwork quilt of colors, textures, and sounds as the VSO’s Woodwind Quartet takes the audience on a journey through 120 years of American music–from Tin Pan Alley to Carnegie Hall, from a bumpy bike ride with Alyssa Morris’s “Motion” to the fairgrounds with Amy Beach’s “Carnival.”

Time: 4 PM
Location: Windham Foundation, 225 Townshend Rd, Grafton, VT
Admission: Free!
