The Grafton Inn is located in the heart of our charming Vermont village, known for its classic beauty and rural charm. With its picturesque white steeple church and local storefronts, the town of Grafton feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. You’ll find us at: The Grafton Inn, 92 Main Street, Grafton, VT 05146.
The Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center is located just 0.8 miles from the main inn, approximately a 2-minute drive down Grafton Road.
Policies
Check-in begins at 4 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.
Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. Any cancellations that occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit provided. All refunds outside of the 14 days are subject to a processing fee equal to $50. Should it be necessary to cancel the reservation within 7 days of arrival, the guest will be responsible for the entire cost of the stay as originally booked. For any changes to the reservation or reductions of 3 or more room nights, the following penalties apply:
7-13 days before arrival, guests will be responsible for 50% of the canceled room nights.
0-6 days before arrival, guests will be responsible for 100% of the canceled room nights.
Yes, children are welcome. There is no additional charge for children 5 years old and younger. For children over the age of five, there is a $45 fee.
Yes, we offer a selection of dog-friendly rooms and guest houses. There is a $50 one-time charge per stay, per pet. If you plan on bringing a dog, all reservation requests should be made through the front desk directly and are based upon availability. We cannot wait to host your pup at our Southern Vermont pet friendly hotel.
We are a non-smoking inn. Noncompliance will result in a $100 surcharge. This includes vaping.
Amenities & Dining
Each of our rooms and suites is equipped with air conditioning, individual climate control, bluetooth speakers, hairdryers, iron/ironing board, a phone, and WiFi. Robes are available upon request.

Additionally, guests have access to trail passes and equipment rentals at Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center. During the winter, this includes cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and snow tubing. In the summer, enjoy access to hiking trails, mountain biking, the swimming pond, disc golf, and tennis and pickleball courts.
A $30 Preservation Fee is applied to each reservation to support the ongoing preservation and stewardship of our historic property and the village of Grafton. Yes, we offer a full Vermont country breakfast each morning, included in your stay. Breakfast is in the Garden Room (located within the Main Inn) from 8-9:30 AM Wednesday-Saturday and 8-10 AM Sunday morning.
